And Tren Maya isn't the only major change coming to Mexico. There's been talk of Chetumal becoming a Free Zone, and today the PM said he spoke with the Governor of Quintana Roo about it. Later this year, she is expected to visit Belize to look at the port.

"Also met with the governor from Quintana Roo was also there, we had several discussions, we had an interest in the port because now that Chetumal is going to be a duty free area, all the goods will have to cont through the Belize port so they want to take a look at the port and see that we can improve the port so that it can handle the amount of goods that they expect will be coming through shortly. I extended the invitation to the governor and we expect that probably in maybe a month or two so she will be able to come on a working visit."
