Yesterday we shared with you the record breaking revenue generated by Boledo for the past 8 months. The chair for the Lotteries Commission Narda Garcia told us that they are predicting up to 110 million in gross sales by the time they complete their first year. So how does that compare to Brad's figures? Garcia gave us a stunning comparison.
Narda Garcia, Chair, Lotteries Commission
"Well I was looking at the numbers last night Jules and I am looking from 2019 when he reported gross sales of 19 million, annual gross sales of 19 million."
Jules Vasquez
"So this is almost four times that?"
Narda Garcia, Chair, lotteries Commission

"Yes and 2022 when he reported 45 million, but at that time remember that the government had changed and I was already chairing a new lotteries committee and we were trying to do our work as best as possible to ensure more oversight."
"We had a hunch that something was not right and we said we can't prove it because from the regulatory standpoint the lotteries committee was not even meeting first of all and secondly the current oversight the resources were not in place and so we started to look at not only the boledo but all the lotteries and eventually that's going to be addressed because we have now taken to cabinet, it has been approved and the legislation is at the AGs ministry for what we would call a lottery and gaming commission that will have the resources, the teeth and everything to look at gaming and lottery to be able to optimize the revenue and profits for government or social services I believe."
As we told you last night - the profits will be split up between NHI, the Sports sector, and the Official Charities fund. Garcia says they will exercise oversight on how those funds are spent.
