Deanni Laing, Queen of the Bay

"Well I feel amazing, I'm still in this otherworldly experience winning the Queen of the Bay pageant on Saturday night go honestly it has been months in the making. My pageant journey started from March when I was selected for Ms Belize Rural and ever since then it has been a great but also a rigorous journey preparing my body for that physical change that mental preparation being in a pageant I've never been in pageantry prior to so having both victories it just feels like a sigh of relief."
"I think for me when you pour out the same amount of energy and passion into every single segment to make sure that you execute that phenomenally, you can't prioritize one or a favorite one over the other because it took the same amount of work. The same amount of work I took practicing that curtsy going to the gym and then going to training and then feeling like I can't get up it's the same amount of training that went into being drilled with questions, that I am like oh my gosh, can you please repeat the question again because I can't even remember what you said all of that preparation it just makes you value everything as one entity."
She will be officially crowned on the 10th by the runner up from last year Keely Faux - who stepped up after last year's queen was stripped of her title.
