And while he didn't want to weigh in on crime related discussions, we asked him about a bus route through the Coastal Highway. He explained that they currently have none after the operator chose not to renew his license. But James Bus Line is trying to fill the gap. Here's what Williams said.

"We had a company that had a road service permit to service the Coastal Road Communities, that is in particular Mullins River and Gales Point Manatee but that road service permit expired in March of this year and the operators did not apply to renew and so the Coastal Highway is now left without a bus company. James Bus Line had applied for the run but the application was incomplete hence it was not able to be approved and so yesterday we had contacted James Bus Line and they were asked to submit the other documentation that was needed to completed the application process and that was done yesterday and so we are hoping that at its next meeting, the Transport Board will be able to look at his application and if it meets the criteria for approval, approve it and then the people of the Coastal Road community will be able to have the service of a bus in that area."
