A Spray Of Gunfire In Daylight Shooting On Amandala Drive

And there was a shooting in Belize City this afternoon. It happened at around 4:30 on Amandala drive in the Carlos Diaz yard at the corner with Vernon Street. Reports say a gunman shot Earl Anderson who was standing on the corner. He reportedly ran into the Diaz yard where the shooting continued. We saw 11 evidence markers on the scene. It was non-fatal and he was rushed to the KHMH - where we are told his injuries are life threatening. So far, little else is known about the shooting and up half an hour ago, police were still examining the crime scene.

Notably, a man was murdered 200 feet west of that location on Amandala Drive in January of this year.
