BAA Finally Doing Things The Right Way

Like a sinner that has found religion - the Belize Airport Authority has decided to finally do things the right way. The statutory body put out a request for proposals for obviation security screening services at all local airstrips, this time including Ranchito and Punta Gorda.

The last time, in late 2024, - they did selective bidding to only three companies, opened bids in Christmas week, and signed 28 million dollars in contracts in the few days before Christmas.
