Central Transit Bus Catches On Fire, Same One Seen Smoking Two Months Ago

Yesterday morning, Police and fire personnel were alerted to a bus on fire at 6:00 am near the Pound Yard on Cemetery road. it was a grey Central Transit bus that was being driven by 23 year old Phillip Sutherland. The driver told police that he had just arrived at pound yard and parked the bus when he noticed the engine was on fire. Immediately he ran to Puma Gas station and borrowed their fire extinguisher but the blaze began to grow and the fire department had to be called. The cause of the fire is still being established. We note that on June 10th a Central Transit bus with the same license plate was seen with smoke pouring out if it on the George Price highway.
