In Surprise Move, Albert Vaughan Says \"So Long, City Hall\

In a surprising move today, the Belize City Council announced the departure of the City Administrator, Albert Vaughan. He will be leaving office on October 31st. According to the press release, he "departs for personal reasons." CitCo is also informing the public that the CA position will be advertised in the coming days and they are inviting qualified individuals to submit applications.

Vaughan replaced Stephanie Lindo back in April of 2024. He was seen as a politically favored choice for the job by senior PUP representatives in the city.
