We also asked minister Habet yesterday about a logging license that was granted to Silk Grass farms. He says that they granted the license for conservation purposes. He explained why.
Orlando Habet, Minister of Sustainable Development

"A license was granted to silk grass farms. The name, possibly, is under a concession, but their thing is mostly for conservation. They put, they have about 20,000 acres that they put into conservation, and the others are, 12 or 15,000 that is national land put into conservation together. They're protecting the entire watershed in the area because of the city river and the branches that flow out of the city. so they don't want the logging or they don't want the illegal logging or the use of people going into the area to, to destroy the area. So it is very positive."
