Hovering Vultures Lead Passersby To Dead Woman's Body

Police are puzzling over the dead body of a woman found up the Ambergris Caye coast, a few miles North of San Pedro Town. A police forensic team just returned to the town and confirmed that the body is that of 26 year old Genoveva Campos, a resident of San Narciso Village in the Corozal District who was reported missing two Saturdays ago, on the 13th of July. The body was found with an unspecified article of clothing missing and in an advanced state of decomposition. Forensic examiners believe she was the victim of foul play. She was found after passers-by on boats saw vultures circling the area. She had been in San Pedro for three months staying with her father Julian Campos, who also reported her missing, and told police that she was slightly retarded.
