After 5 weeks, the faith of Leslie Pipersburgh and Patrick Robateau will soon be in the hands of a jury.
Today the 12 member jury heard closing arguments from prosecutor Majorie Moyston and defense attorney Linsbert Willis. In her four hour-long summation, Moyston wove what she called a strong rope of circumstantial evidence pointing to the two defendants.
In his reply, Willis pointed to inconsistencies in the prosecution's case and lack of evidence linking either of his clients to the four murders.
Next, presiding judge Troadio Gonzalez will wrap up the case for the jury and then it is on to deliberations.
Both Robateau and Pipersburgh are jointly charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
