Tonight a young man is lying in a bed at the KHMH unable to talk and eat after he was stabbed during Friday night's Elephant Man concert.

Police officers on duty at the concert say that around 1 am, which was the same time that Elephant Man took the stage, Leon Soberanis approached them suffering from a stab wound to his neck. 20-year-old Soberanis was rushed to the KHMH where doctors say that stab to his neck ruptured his windpipe and he is now unable to talk. And even if he could talk, police say Soberanis is not cooperating and has declined to say or indicate who attacked him.

Police do believe Friday's stabbing had nothing to do with Elephant man but was over a long-standing dispute. As far as eyewitnesses to the stabbing, well police have the estimated 4,000 people who were in the city center for the concert.
