14-year-old Girl Raped At House Party In P.G.

In Punta Gorda police tell 7NEWS they are close to making an arrest for the alleged drugging and rape of a 14-year-old female high school student two weeks ago.

The 14 year old was at a house party with some other high school students when she told police she left and followed a m1ale friend behind the house. After having a drink she told police she somehow became unconscious. She later regained consciousness only to find that she was undressed and her male companion was partially dressed.

A medical examiner has certified that the 14-year-old girl was carnally known. Police say an arrest could come this week and they also tell us that the suspect is also of high school age.
