Hit & Run Driver Kills Trial Farm Villager

Orange Walk Police are tonight looking for a driver who fatally knocked a Trial farm Villager off his bicycle and then fled the scene.

About 7 last night officers Discovered 42-year-old Daniel Sandoval lying on the side of the Northern Highway between miles 57 and 58. Sandoval was lying next to a beach cruiser with a mangled rear wheel. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Northern Regional Hospital and a post mortem today showed his cause of death as a fractured vertebrae.

Sandoval worked as a watchman. He was killed returning home from his farm just outside his home village of Trial Farm.

Police have no suspects but tell us they do have leads, which they are following.
