Salvadoran Charged for Fatal Hit and Run

And also appearing in Orange Walk Court was Salvadoran national Delfino Francisco Deodanes. Police say on Saturday night the 33-year-old fled from the scene of a deadly accident on the Guinea Grass road.

Police say 59-year-old Guatemalan national Maximiliano Sarceno was riding his bicycle when he collided head onto Deodanes' pickup truck. In court Deodanes was charged with manslaughter by negligence and causing death by careless conduct.

Even though he fled the scene, police caught up with Deodanes in Cacabish village, which is somewhere in the orange Walk district we presume where they found a pickup fitting the description and with corresponding damage to its hood, left grill, and lights.
