It's the start of the June session of the Supreme Court, and again today, Justice John Gonzalez made it clear that he is not happy with the DPP's office.
The first case was supposed to have been the murder trial of Jason "Soup" Williams, but prosecutor Carlo Mason told the court that the DPP's office had no case prepared. Justice Gonzalez then asked him if he had any other cases to begin, to which Mason said no. With that Gonzalez sounded off, saying he won't play games with, "adjournments, adjournments and adjournments." He concluded by saying that if the Jason Williams case is not ready by Thursday, he will dismiss it for want of prosecution. This is just the first of 20 cases set for trial in this session and eleven of them are for murder.
