From police investigating their own we move to another investigation. This one concerns the shooting of two men on the night of the 10th September. At around 11:50 on that night 24 year old Alex Myers and 44 year old Mark Staine were standing at the corner of ebony and pine streets when a vehicle pulled up beside them and some gunmen jumped out and began to shoot at the pair. From his hospital bed where he is being treated to gunshots to the chest and hips, Myers told us that he does not know who shot him and does not care to know:

“I don’t really know I just feel a gunshot. The first shot I got under my chest, the left hand side, under my heart. I just remember not falling just running up the street just feeling more shots on my body and that was it.

“The person who shot you, do you know who it is and why he shot you?”

“I don’t know and I really don’t want to know either.”
“It was a vehicle just pulled out and the man just shoot up.”

“I have no idea”

Staine received gunshots to the abdomen. Police have detained several persons in connection with the shooting but they say the victims are not cooperating with them.
