And while that 72 year old was believed to have been killed some time last night, early Saturday morning, the scene of the crime was in Belize City in the Yabra area. At 1:40 a.m., 16 year old Dual Ernest Wagner was inside the Bismarck Club when someone put a gun to his head, and shot him dead. What was the 16 year old doing inside a nightclub at 2:00 in the morning? His mother says that when he left home after 7:00 in the night, the last thing she did was warn him:

"It's basically what I usually tell him: be careful gunshots fly and they can catch you. And then I tell him I say: when gunshots fly they have no target so I tell him, the next thing they tell me is to tell me that you are at the hospital and when I get to the hospital if you are not taking your last breath they'll tell me you are dead. He left here in the evening and I told him I did not want him to come home around 8:30 or 9. When I noticed it was 10 o'clock and I did not seem him appear yet. So from there 10, 11 then I said to myself where is this boy. Then I said to myself that it is the same thing I told him to see that he comes home. From there I sat down to watch television and found myself nodding. From there I opened my eye and saw that it was already 12 o'clock. I was wondering where this little boy is. So I said to myself that I would go to sleep. So I took my bath and got into my bed and then I heard someone knocking at the house's side. I wondered who it was and when I came out to see if it was him. I thought it was him coming home. But when I put on the light, I couldn't see who it was, the person said he said that the boy just got shot at Bismark."

"Do you know who would have done such a thing or why?"

"No I don't know who would have done him such a thing. Like I said I don't know him to have any problems with anyone. Nobody ever came here making noise that he was involved in anything. I used to advise him like a mother and used to tell him to be carefull and stuff like that."

"Was he known to hang out at Bismark. This happened at 1:40, he's 16 years, what was he doing there at that time?"

"I don't know that he goes to does places. If he goes he takes it upon himself if he goes. He is 16 going on 17 these boys today, these children when they reach this age they have a tendency that when you talk to them they don't take it seriously. Is used to advise him and things like that so he can't say he didn't get advise from his mother."
Though the shooting happened in the club, police say they have not received any assistance form the patrons. They are asking anyone who has information can contribute anonymously by calling the 922 Hotline.
