Hitchhiker picked up only to die

Police are tonight asking the public for their assistance in identifying a man who was killed in a traffic mishap on Saturday night. Around 11:50 on that night, 30 year old Jerome Goff left Ladyville from a party. At the airport junction he picked up a man whom he knew only as "Bogo." Bogo hopped into the bed of Goff's pickup truck and they headed for Belize City. But Goff ran off the road between miles 7 and 8, and Bogo was flung from the pickup truck and died on the spot. Police have not yet identified the person known as bogo and are asking anyone who can assist them to please do so.
