Two accused killers walked out of court free men _today after their case in the Supreme Court was aborted.

Terrence "Natty" Bailey and Jerry Bush had been charged with the murder of Kareem "Matty" Swazo and the attempted murder of Calbert Budd in June of 2003. Today they appeared in Supreme Court but before the trial could proceed Prosecutor Marjorie Moyston indicated to trial judge Troadio Gonzalez that prosecution would not proceed because there was not enough evidence for a jury to deliberate on and reach a verdict. With that the two men were set free. They had been on remand since March of last year.

At noon on a June day in 2003, Swazo and Budd were shot as they pulled up in a car at the corner of Amara Avenue and Allenby Street.
