$162,600 in Counterfeit U.S. Dollars

Orange Walk Police have netted a huge catch of counterfeit U.S. currency. An operation conducted by police has 4 persons detained and as much as US$162,600 counterfeit in $100 denominations.

After a number of complaints made by residents of Orange Walk Town investigators were led to an open lot off Coco Plum Street in that town yesterday where the stash was found. The police warn residents to be careful when conducting business and ensuring that currency being used is legitimate.
