Three weeks before the start of the new school year, thieves raided the computer lab at the Central Christian Primary School on Freetown Road. In the dark of night, last night they broke into the school's library and stole four computers. A school official told 7NEWS that the work was made easier for the thieves since the computers were put in away in boxes because of the threat of hurricanes. So it is believed the thieves simply picked up the boxes and made off with them. They probably gained entry by breaking the locks on doors. Those doors are now boarded up while police investigate. Classes resume at Central Christian School on September 5th.

And while in the city the unconscionable criminals targeted a school, in Belmopan they targeted a church. The pastor at the Full Gospel Church in San Martin Village which is located in the greater Belmopan area told police that thieves stole nearly $8,000 in electronic equipment from the church.

The break-in happened between Sunday night and Tuesday morning and the thieves made off with a bass guitar and two amplifiers. Police are also investigating this case.
