No Identity of Hit and Run Victim

Police are trying to identify a man who was knocked down and killed on the Western Highway last night.

29-year-old Ralph Nunez told police that at around 7 he was heading towards Belize City and between miles 4 and 5 he saw a man riding a bicycle in front of his vehicle. Nunez says the man suddenly swerved into his path and he knocked him down. The man was taken to the KHMH where he later died. Police are asking the assistance of the public in positively identifying the man who was riding a black beach cruiser bicycle and who is known only as "Corozal". No charges have been filed against Nunez until the conclusion of the police's investigations.
