Steve Flowers Shot in his Ankle

A man was shot in Belize City last night. 47-year-old Steve Flowers told police that he was riding his bicycle on Glen Street and when he reached the intersection with West Street, two men on bicycles rode up on him. One of them told Flowers to stop, but he refused and kept riding. He says he heard three shots and later realized that he had been hit once in the ankle. He is in the KHMH recovering and police are investigating.
