And while he was stabbed in the rib, one man who stabbed his girl in the back, literally, went to court today. He eluded police for 10 days after he allegedly stabbed his teenaged girlfriend, but tonight 34-year-old Ervin Reneau is in jail.
The self-described "seaman" was today arraigned for wounding his 16-year-old girlfriend in her back. The girl told police that they were having an argument earlier this month when Reneau pulled out a knife and stabbed her. Reneau appeared in court this morning where he pleaded not guilty to wounding. Bail was granted for the wounding charge, but Reneau is sitting in a jail cell tonight because of an outstanding bench warrant. Reneau was the witness in another case for which he failed to appear.
