Lover's Fight Escalates into Knife Attack

A lover's quarrel turned into war this morning when a man was stabbed by his girlfriend's mother. That man is Ryan Arnold and police say he was arguing with his girlfriend near the corner of Douglas Jones Street and Freetown Road. Somehow the girl's 37 year old mother jumped in and she ended up stabbing Arnold in his ribs. Arnold is in the hospital while his future mother-in-law is detained awaiting charges.
