Lazaro Murillo Charged for Hit & Run Death

Police have charged a 20-year-old man for the death of 52-year-old Salvadorean Rafael Magana. Lazaro Murillo has been charged with manslaughter by negligence, driving without due care and attention, failure to stop and render aid, failure to report an accident and causing death by careless conduct. As we reported on Thursday Rafael Magana was riding his bicycle on Mahogany Street near the Complex Building when a grey Nissan pickup truck hit him and sped off. He was taken to the hospital but died shortly after.
