A 54-year-old man made a fatal fall from a 14-foot ladder over the weekend. Police say Manuel Vidal was on a ladder cleaning the sides of his two-storey home when the ladder broke. That sent him crashing down and he landed on a septic tank. He was rushed to the hospital but died later.
