Commissioner of Police Gerald Westby says those residents on George Street's whose homes were stormed on Saturday by his officers shouldn't expect an apology. As we showed you last night, before dawn on Saturday police officers raided four residences on George Street homes, breaking down doors, destroying locks, and damaging grill doors and finding nothing illegal. The COMPOL told us today that his officers acted on legitimate intelligence. And besides that, Westby says the houses they searched didn't belong to saints.

Gerald Westby, COMPOL
"The police will do their job objectively but at the same time, once intelligence are provided, we will be going hard at the criminals. Nobody cannot do what they want. If we have to kick down doors, then we will kick down doors."

Alfonso Noble,
Was there anything yielded from the searches?

Gerald Westby,
"Well offhand I cannot say and George Street has some nice people living there but we all know for a fact that they have some people suspected of being involved in criminal activities and we will not let up; we must provide that level of security for other law abiding citizens that live on George Street."
