Aaron Juan Surrenders to Cayo Police

He's been on the run since august of last year - reportedly hiding out in the jungle, and today tour guide Aaron Juan turned himself in to Cayo police. He was charged with two counts of rape and one count of carnal knowledge.

The complaints were made by three British females, between 16 and 19 years old, all students doing volunteer work in the Cayo district. They had invited Juan into their room at a Cayo ranch and then claimed that he raped them. Through his family, Juan has steadfastly denied the charges. Today when he appeared in court, he was granted bail of $10,000 which he met. He had to surrender all travel documents. He re-appears on February 27.
