He is still facing attempted murder charges but tonight, Leroy "Red Ants" Rhaburn Sr. has one less case to answer. He was arrested in January of 2005 and charged with keeping an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. At the time police claimed that they found a loaded.38 pistol on him. Red Ants went on trial before Magistrate Harrison Hulett today. After the prosecution wrapped its case, an undefended Red Ants, opted to plead guilty to the charge. He was fined $10,000, $500 of which was due immediately and the rest by April 30th.
Red Ants along with brothers Burton and Brent Garoy were charged in December for a shooting which later turned into a blood bath when Red Ants' son and girlfriend got shot.
