Last night we told you about the young couple whose apartment was destroyed by a fire on the Old City Council Road on Saturday morning. The story was of interest because the apartment building was a just a few houses down from the Dolphin Street Fire Station. That perceived blunder is compounded because it left Michelle Ramclam, Joel Duncan, and their three children homeless. The two have found temporary lodging and have gotten much needed help from restaurant owner Olive Leslie. They've been left with nothing, and every little bit counts, and Leslie has placed a donation can in her store on Bocotora Street. Miss Olive says its not much but it is a start and more than that we thought it was a notable act of neighborliness.

Olive Leslie, Olive's Kitchen
"I'm asking, especially my customers, that whatever little have they have, any little bit will help. Ms. Ramclam is living upstairs and she is still looking for a place to live and if they have anything like clothing or household ware, they could just shout for her and give it to her and they could put whatever cash they have in the can."

Michelle Ramclam, Fire Victim
I thank miss Olive very much because you know not everybody will do something like that for you so I really appreciate what she is doing and I thank her very much."

Again, the donation box is in Olive's Kitchen on Bocotora Street. If you'd like to help can contact the couple at cell number 621-1881.
