Three Survive Banak Street Ambush

Three men are hospitalized tonight after they were shot this morning at the height of rush hour near the center of the city. Police say that 32-year-old Sherwin Nunez, 34-year-old Carlos Abraham, and 20-year-old Nikki Picart were standing at the mouth of an alley off Banak Street when a pickup pulled up. Witnesses none of whom would talk to us on camera say that one gunman came out and he fired off as many as 7 shots. Bullets hit Abraham and Nunez in their left legs while Picart was shot in his left shoulder and left leg and right side of neck. The men are stable tonight in the hospital and police say they have one suspect detained.
