He was accused of carnal knowledge by a 15 year old and now Alvin Vasquez Allen is now further accused by the teenager of kidnapping.
The 31 year old, who goes by both surnames and has convictions under both, appeared in Magistrate's Court today where he was charged with kidnapping and 2 counts of aggravated assault in two separate incidents.
In the kidnapping and first charge of aggravated assault, the 15 year old girl told police that on March 16th she was walking on Youth for the Future Drive when Vasquez/Allen approached her grabbed her, covered her mouth and forced her into a taxi van that was parked nearby. A second man, the driver of the van then took them to a house on Malcolm Street where she was forced inside, where the 15-year-old claims Vasquez/Allen slapped her around, choked her, and hit her with a machete on the right arm. After all that abuse, she claims that he pulled out a gun and pointed it to her head. Several hours later she was released after agreeing to return to the house which she never did.
The second charge of aggravated assault arose after a 19 year old Richard Jones, apparently the girl's boyfriend, reported that he was standing in front of his home on Victoria Street, when Vasquez-Allen approached him. Jones claims that Vasquez-Allen pulled out a gun and pointed it at him saying that if he wanted to, he could kill him.
Faced with all these charges and one prior for the carnal knowledge of the same 15 year old, in court today Alvin Vasquez Allen was denied bail and remanded to custody until April 28th.
