Last week, we told you about 40 year old Francis Simon who showed up in the emergency room at the KHMH with a knife stuck in his throat. Today, police charged the man who stabbed him. Arthur "Bum" Thomas, a car washer who works in the hospital parking lot was charged with attempted murder, dangerous harm, and use of deadly means of harm when he appeared in the #4 Magistrate's Court.
According to the victim, he and Thomas got into a fight about a pair of sandals and when the dispute escalated, Thomas stabbed him in the neck about two inches below the ear. Today in court, Thomas was denied bail and remanded until May 11.
