Police are looking for a Belmopan man after he unleashed a pair of vicious dogs on two officers. Police Constables Daniel Teck and Sheridan Lemoth were on bicycle patrol in Belmopan when they responded to a domestic dispute on Lubaantun Street. They found a desperate woman who pleaded with them to speak to her husband, Roberto Mazarigos who was threatening her with violence. But he wouldn't listen, and 'sicced' two vicious dogs at the officers.
They ran to the end of the street, and that's when Mazarigos jumped into his van and sped straight at the officers, forcing Lemoth to jump off his bike and into a drain. Lemoth dodged the hit, but Mazarigos did manage to run over his bicycle as he sped off.
He hasn't been seen since but police have a long list of charges waiting for him.
