'Big Mike's Accused Killer Walks

A 17 year old who had been charged with murder today walked out of Magistrate's Court a free man. Kareem Gladden appeared before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers where the charge of murder against him was dropped at the instruction of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A second young man 18-year-old Keith Lewis remains behind bars as the charge against him still stands.

On January 27th 50 year old Michael "Big Mike" Burns was shot to the head as he was at his business place on Freetown Road. Police believe that the motive for the killing was robbery.
