Beware of Land Scam

If someone who says they are from the Department of Lands and they are offering you a sweet deal beware, it might be a sour con-job. The Ministry says that it has received several fake documents being circulated and sold by con-men impersonating land officers. The best advice? You should only conduct public land transactions at the Ministry of Natural Resources in Belmopan or district land offices countrywide.
