It's the culture capital by word, but Dangriga is trying to prove its worth by deed. On Sunday the Dangriga Town Council re-animated its once popular culture Sunday. It began last week Sunday with a three hour show at the Wadaani Shed. The show which featured the Dangriga Cultural Committee's performing arts company, the New Rebels Band, Lloyd, Reckless and Supa G as well as poetry by Anthony Zuniga and other artists is held free of charge.

The culture show will run for 5 more weeks at the Wadani Shed with a two-week break for the September celebrations.
