63 Pounds of Weed on Jane Usher Blvd.

The Crimes Intelligence Unit made a major marijuana seizure. This afternoon at 2:30, acting on intelligence, the CIU descended on a home on Jane Usher Boulevard where they found 3 buckets and 7 bags of marijuana. The bags were suspended a few feet above the ground, police say, because the owners were trying to keep them from rats. One man was in the house and he has been detained. Police say the small home is known to harbour illicit activity.
