Three forged Belizean passports turned up this weekend at the Phillip Goldson International Airport but they are not the machine-readable type. 7NEWS has confirmed that on Saturday morning at 10:00, three Chinese nationals 54 year old Richard Wu, 37 year old Lui Juain, and 24 year old Hui Manging were entering Belize from Salvador on a Taca flight when they were intercepted by immigration officials.

They were taken into custody and charged this evening for possession of forged passports. Police are reportedly still holding one more man, a local Chinese contact who hooked them up with the fake documents.

Again, these are not the machine readable type, so are not among the 204 still unaccounted for. We'll have more on this story tomorrow when they are arraigned in court.
