Gabby Affif's secretary Ursula Hill was supposed to have been the star witness in the biggest immigration case ever. She was given indemnity from prosecution on the expectation that she would spill the beans on her ex-boss at the Supreme Court. Well she didn't. At the trial, Hill confessed to her own wrongdoing but never implicated Affif. In his testimony, Affif said that Hill was apparently filling out applications for nationality and passports for other people without his knowledge. With that, Affif could not be implicated for wrongdoing and Hill, who admitted she did wrong, was indemnified from prosecution - and thus ended the biggest immigration scandal the country had yet seen.

But not so fast. 7NEWS is reliably informed that the DPP has instructed police to arrest Hill. Apparently the DPP is satisfied that there is sufficient evidence to show that Hill misrepresented either in her deposition or in her testimony. With that, the DPP is satisfied that the indemnity deal is off because she breached it, and charges can be laid. The arrest should follow any day now. She is expected to face the same charges that Affif did.
