Dr. Miguel Rosado has died. On August 28th the 48 year old pediatrician was gravely injured in a traffic accident at mile 12 on the Western Highway. He lost control of his vehicle causing it to flip several times as he traveled from Belmopan to Belize City. His passenger Michelle Lee Trapp Leslie died on the spot while Rosado sustained severe head injuries.
On September 12 he was transported to Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans. He remained there until Monday of this week when it was concluded that nothing could be done for him because of severe brain trauma and he was returned to Belize. At the specific request of family members he was brought to the KHMH where he remained in pretty much the same condition as when he left the country a month earlier.
After being at the KHMH for three days, at exactly 10:20 this morning Dr. Rosado died.
