Joseph Gilharry Charged for Shooting Police Constable

Last week Friday we told you about Constable Joseph Gillharry who was shot in the shoulder as police were destroying a weed field outside of Corozal Town. Now Corozal police have arrested 46-year-old Arnaldo Solana from the Fianca Solana area of Corozal and charged him for attempted murder. PC Gilharry has been released from the hospital but will need further medical attention to remove shotgun pellets from his face and shoulder. Police still destroyed the field containing 1,600 mature plants.
