Telswin Lara Charged for Barry Logan Murder

He's been a fugitive for a week, but yesterday police caught up with murder suspect Telswin Tyrone Lara. Lara is accused of the 89th murder of 2006 which occurred a week ago. Investigators say Lara stabbed 35-year-old Barrington Logan to death on Antelope Street Extension last week Friday morning. The two had an argument, and police believe Lara ended it when he stabbed Logan multiple times to the face and body.

This afternoon police took the 19-year-old Logan to Magistrate's Court. He appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Dorothy Flowers where he was formally charged for the murder of Barrington Logan. He was unrepresented in court and was remanded until February 6th.
