While Howard will be spending time in jail another man was freed of charges after he was accused of forcing a 13 year old boy to perform oral sex on him.
41-year-old Brian Gentle was charged with aggravated assault and appeared in court along with his attorney Michael Peyrefitte before former Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord. In court, Peyrefitte made a no case submission, because the date of the charge and the date the young man testified about did not match.
Specifically, Gentle was charged for an encounter that allegedly occurred between September 2002 and June 2003, and the young man testified about something that happened back in 2000 when he was just 10 years old. That was enough to justify the no case submission and Lord agreed. The boy had made the complaint after he was found in school with a pack of condoms.
