Police have made the quick recovery of two guns stolen from a safe yesterday evening. 57-year-old Lindsay Belisle reported to police that sometime between 4 and 6 yesterday evening burglars made their way into his home on Mercy Lane. He says the thieves stole an iron safe which contained two firearms a 9 millimeter and a point 38 gun belonging to Belisle and his wife.
Police investigated the matter and today report that they have arrested two 16-year-old young men and have recovered the firearms that were stolen. They are now looking for the safe while they prepare charges of burglary and handling stolen property.
Now if you're asking how do two 16 year olds get into a house and crack a safe? Well, it's quite simple. First, they got in because one of the accused is the maid's son. He stole mom's key for her boss's back door, and after she had left work, he went back with his friend. And how'd they get into the safe? Well, turns out, it wasn't locked.
