On January 8 the son of a police corporal was knocked down by a BATSUB truck. It never made the news and now Corporal Alfaro Bol is saying that by the way the matter is being treated by his own department, it's as if it never even happened. But it did, and on that day two and a half weeks ago, 7 year old Chris Bol, was riding his bicycle in Ladyville at around 3:40 when he was knocked down by an British Army truck. Since then, the child has undergone two surgeries and had half his spleen has removed. But still, his father's own Police Department has been inactive and today Alfaro Bol told us he's had enough.
Alfaro Bol,
"I made a report to the police last week Tuesday. I spoke to the traffic police in Ladyville however it seems that they are dragging their foot on this report. I don't know what is the situation and hwy they are not checking in to the report. I am appealing to the authorities or persons concerned for them to charge this individual so that we can get the process going before the court and I could take a further step thereafter."

"Yes I am."

You are a police man and it seems to me that you should be treated better than this.
Alfaro Bol,
"Well being a member of the Department I cannot say why they are not looking into the matter. I am not sure why they are not dealing with. However I need to get this dealt with because they have injured my son tremendously. My son, he is traumatized. Sometimes at night I have to stay with basically all through the night. Whenever he wakes up there is a sudden reaction and he is bawling and crying out and he recalls seeing all this heavy equipment over him, this big machine over him. I am saying that person concerned, the BATSUB vehicle, I am saying that if they can come forward and at least contact me or so, so that we could come to a compromise or something of that sort. I need monetary assistance because at the moment I am in a ton load of bills. I am in a ton load of bills and seems as if these persons aren't coming forward and helping anyway. Yes I am concerned about my son, I want to see the charges being brought against this individual. The police should not be the judge or magistrate, this should be left up to the court of law to decide."

So you now for a fact that this gentlemen has not been charged?
Alfaro Bol,
"Well the last time I made checks, which was in this week, he was not arrested and charged as yet and no one from the department, from Ladyville, especially Ladyville Police Department, has come to record a statement from my son."
Bol says his son is recovering and is in condition to give a statement to the police but none has been taken.
