Gerald Bahadur Gets 12 Years for Molesting Girl

Last week he was found guilty of two counts of carnal knowledge and today 58 year old Gerald Bahadur appeared before Justice Adolph Lucas to receive his sentence.

Bahadur who was undefended called on his sister who told the court to be lenient on him because of his age and his medical condition. That being that he is only able to a walk with the use of a walker. For his part Bahadur told the court that he lost an eye in 1981 and since then he's been on pension from the Social Security Board.

After consideration Lucas sentenced him to the minimum sentence of 12 years on each count. That's 24 years, but they are to run concurrently.
