7 hours later - there was a home invasion in a quiet residential area where burglars made off with two more guns. 40-year-old Jude Nagendran who lives at this home on Blue Marlin Drive was awakened at 3:40 am and found a gun to his head.
That's about the same time that 44-year-old Richard Wilson, who lives at the same house, came home and saw a man who fired a shot at him. Wilson ran out and scrambled under a boat in the yard. Three men in full camouflage took him back inside the house, and ransacked it, finding a 38 revolver and a 22 rifle. They also stole a variety of electronic equipment and jewelry valuing close to $20,000. It seemed that they got into the house by prying off one of the burglar bars over the window.
Reports are that police have detained three men, one of them a well-known burglar. They are detained pending charges of aggravated burglary and one of the firearms has also been recovered.
